2nd baby due in just over 2 weeks.. what should I be doing?

Our 2nd baby is due on the 22nd (2 weeks on monday ) and I can't help but feel like I'm just sat twiddling my thumbs waiting for things to happen. My hospital bag is all packed, clothes sorted, cot and crib up (just need dressing.), bottles etc sorted (in case I can't breastfeed as had loads of trouble with my first.), birth announcements just need writing and sending when she's born and the only things I can think that I need to do is set up her bouncey chair which is still packed and have a play with my tens machine to see how it works (and electrocute Dh, ). But I can't help but feel like I've forgotten something. Plus I've yet to find someone with a car that can take us to hospital at short notice (Dh doesn't drive)!!
Can anyone think of anything i've possibly forgotten?

Teh only thing I can advise is rest! You know how hectic it's going to be once the baby arrives, so try and catch up on your sleep...
My no2 is due on 18th Feb. Hope everything goes well!Must learn not to count chickens before they are hatched!!!!:D
Every day is a new challenge not a new problem!:p
SW start 08/01/14 4/21lbs (1st target) :j0 -
Concentrate on getting the transport sorted and childcare all lined up for your child. Then take the time to sit with your feet up with a couple of good books - or when cooking why not double up and put some in the freezer so that things are a little less hectic when you come home.0

Also sit with your older child and read stories about the new baby and talk about the new baby to prepare them. I have a 3 year old and an 11 month old and when the baby was born my toddler was a bit distressed that he was being pushed out (or not, as the case may be - excuse the pun!) - even though he wasn't. The more prep the better! Best of luck with the birth3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

That's the trouble our little girl is nearly 22 months and doesn't really understand. She knows what a baby is, and we've got her a dolly and have taught her how to give it a bottle, but other than that she doesn't understand so I'm a bit worried about how she'll react. She's never been clingy or anything like that at all and I've not been able to pick her up as much because I have SPD so she's not been 'babied' so to speak... but I'm scared that she'll hate the new baby!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

My nieces are 2 years apart and the older one was fine when the baby was a tiny baby, and even when she was crawling, but OMG when the baby started walking, she was CRAZY jealous, and took all her toys and watched her like a hawk. So, don't worry too much about your older one. It might be a good idea for the baby (mmm you!) to buy her older sibling a present.0

I had my 2nd 5 weeks ago and ds1 has just turned 2 last month between the 2 of them I do not get a lot of rest so am ghlad I took it easy before ds2 was born.
btw ladybird do a great book on preparing your toddler for the arrival of the new baby I was amazed at how welll ds1 understood. I got it from a friend who had used it when she had her third you could check your local librry or ask around.
And enjoy being a family of 3!!

My dd was the same age when dd2 was born. Expect her having tantrums for the first few weeks but once thats past, she will forget what life was like with your baby0 -
