which paint?

im trying to decide which is the best paint to use

to try to explain the way my house was built there was a small porch then the door, however some including the person who owned the house before me has put a upvc door at the beginning of the porch so it now doubles as a small hallway

i painted the porch/hallway using masonary paint but i dont like the colour and want to repaint
so do i have to use masonary paint again or should i be ok using bog standard wall and ceiling emulsion

really dont want to pay for masonary paint if i dont really need it

Is the wall surface masonary? If so yes, use masonary paint, if it is plastered/papered etc use emulsion.

yeah its masonary as it used to be outside

thought that since i done a coat of masonry i would be ok using emulsion as its technically inside

If you've already used masonry (not masonary please) paint on it and its inside then you can quite happliy go over it with internal emulsion.

    Cheers
