Blackpool Family Holiday

Hi All,

In a couple of weeks I'm going to Blackpool for a family holiday with 3 children. I've been looking around and a lot of attractions are going to cost a fortune.

Does anyone know of any vouchers or discounts there might be out there for things like Blackpool Zoo, Pleasure Beech, The Sea Life Centre, etc?

I would be very grateful if anyone can point me in the direction of getting tickets for any of these things cheaper, family tickets only include 2 children and 2 adults :(

Thanks in advance.

hi i've just got back from blackpool.
The circus was really good def recommend it, BUT I wouldn't buy a 'bundle' ticket. The tower is having a major refurb atm. There are 3 things to do on the building site, the circus, jungle jims (softplay / ball pool place) and the ballroom. half price circus tickets are everywhere in blackpool some are bogof but not all. jungle jims run a 1 hour session and you have to leave at the end of the session no matter how long you've been in there!! (the ballroom bit was of no interest to my children surprisingly:o) i came out feeling a little bit ripped off tbh.

on the north pier there is a snow white and the 7 dwarfs show on on wednesday lunch times (it cost us £20 for 2 adults and 2 children) only amature but my 2 totally loved it well worth the money, and the snacks were surprisingly fairly priced (£1.50 for popcorn, sherbet tubes 30p, shaped lolly pops 50p) or you can take your own food in fine.

the zoo is worth the money imo, you can buy on line before you go (or at the tourist information) and save 10% and then with the zoo tickets you can get into the big soft play / ball pool barn thing next door for £1.50 each child- within the next 5 days (so we did this as a seperate outing the next day)

also £2 of 2p coins can last a good couple of hours in the slot machines, i found they were fairly good (from a childs point of view) for winning, and it was a bit of a chore in the end trying to 'lose' so we could leave!
  • Do you collect clubcard vouchers? Blackpool zoo and Blackpool Pleasure Beach are both attractions on their reward scheme.
COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:
2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER
  • Mumto2loves, thanks so much for the info, I was going to get the combined ticket for the circus, jungle jims, etc but I won't bother now as I can imagine the tears should they not get long in there.

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs sounds great, I'll definitely look into that.

Babyfruitella, I do collect club card vouchers so I'll have a look into that.

Thanks guys for the info it is much appreciated.
  • Someone posted a bogof on pleasure beach tickets on another thread, if you search for it it should come up. Not sure if still in date but saw it about a week ago? Just in case you dont have time for the clubcard voucher tickets!
  • Thanks guys for your help, I'm off tomorrow - wish me luck :rotfl:
