Hi
A big thank you to "Amy" working at Admiral Car Insurance customer services.
It was just a quick question about using my car abroad. No messing around, she explained what I needed to know, checked I was all ready and wished me a lovely holiday (and I think it was a lovely Welsh accent I heard too!).
I rang the customer feedback line but they weren't sure if they could trace it because nothing needed doing to my policy but said they try to pass that on. I hope they do!
People like this are like gold dust in call centres. It's refreshing for someone to be a) friendly b) to know what they're talking about!

I use Admiral and anytime i have had to speak with them they've been brilliant and so quick and helpful. Also my renewal was cheaper this year than on any comparison website - bargain!0

Probably was a lovely Welsh accent - Admiral have a call centre in Cardiff. Nice to hear praise for call centre staff for a change!0

We have been with Admiral for a coupe of years and I also have always found them very friendly and helpful. But i am now renewing 2 cars on a multicar and the premiums have risen quite a bit. Just checked online and Like for Like I am getting cheaper Admiral quotes with an online comaprison site, much cheaper than my renewal quotes I was expecting my daughters to come down as she has now been driving for a year so has earned a year's no claims; but no, this has increased. Even with the multi car discount they are more expensive. Shal be giving them a ring and shopping around.0

...and praise too for their claims dept. Sorted out full settlement on a vehicle within 1 week of the accident, and loss of earnings (without loads of paperwork proof!) (4 working days), and had a cheque on the way, also made an offer for whiplash, my client deferred it until he had his 2nd appointment with the doctor.
(as a broker I did get involved for my client and cleared the path for a speedy result with the best possible outcome)
David Morgan was the helpful chap in Admiral claims.
It took my clients insurer - Aviva - 4 days to issue a claim reference, as it was also reported to them For Info Only.0 -
This sounds promising.
I have to ring them tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get the Welsh bird (the accent does something for me). Thinking about it, she may be the one who sold me the policy in the first place.
Seriously though, it's nice that others have had a good experience, as I'm stuck with them for the next year.0 -
I bought my DD's insurance today from Admiral. All contact has been helpful and cheerful. A pleasure to deal with. And they were the cheapest quote; go via confused.com, which someone here said they own.0
