I have a family railcard, here's the question. For a journey a make once a fortnight I can save £10 on the standard fare for myself (I usually make this trip alone) if I buy an adult and a child ticket on my railcard, but if i do this and travel alone will it be accepted or must the child actually be with me ?

Their T&Cs state...
They go on to say...To use your Family & Friends Railcard, your group must contain at least one named cardholder and at least one child aged between 5 and 15 years.Additional accompanying passengers for whom discounted tickets are purchased must travel with the Railcard holder throughout the journey.0
