PPI Reclaim - Amount to Reclaim

I have received a copy of my loan agreement from Barclays and it shows a breakdown of the figures.
It shows the details of the loan for £5000 over 60 months. It then also shows the details of the 'premium loan' (PPI) which states loan amount is £1206.86 then a total amount payable of £1722.00.
Is the amount of £1722.00 the amount I should be trying to reclaim? I did have a look at the guide but got a bit confused by it all. Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi there
Hopefully someone will be along soon to check these out for you, but you can still continue to make a reclaim without the figures at this point. I know they are useful to have and know, and the business should also send you a breakdown on request if successful.
To make a reclaim, you complete the reclaim questionnaire below on step 3. Remember to keep a copy for yourself as well, send to the complaints or head office of Barclays, if it were these that sold and set up you're account, they normally have 8 weeks but may possibly write to say about more time which is required due to backlogs, good luck and meanwhile hopefully someone will be along to check the figures out for you.
