But it LOOKED like you were trying to pull a fast one so people gave the answers they did."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

The fact that there have been regular repayments prove that an ageement is in place.
There may also be other communication to support this (emails, texts etc) which could also be used as evidence."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
You are trying to skulk, otherwise why think about it in order to make yourself curious.
You wanted us to tell you nothing could happen and thn you would tell her to not pay him, and then like someone else said, use the money for beer tokens!0 -

i would imagine she is LEGALLY obliged, and here is why.....
She has been making payments, and thats what forms an agreement. that and that alone will win the OH a case if he went to court... the court would ask the question... why have you been making payments?????? if there was no agreement.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -

My understanding was the registered keeper of the car and name in the log book has no bearing on who is the legal owner.
Hence if he paid for it and has the reciept he can happily drive off in it and keep it being able to legally prove its his if challenged.0 -
This guy is exactly the sort of person friends or family shouldn't lend money to.
He'll skulk at the slightest opportunity - "he can't force me to, so I wont pay".
As someone said, skulk and you're a scumbag.0
