Foreign Payments Options other than paypal?

As each day passes I get more wary of Palpal all the time as I read all these chargeback horror stories. What are the other options of recieving payments from outside the UK that are secure if any. I don't want to not offer worldwide shipping with my sales but on the other hand I want a method of payment that I can trust.

Whats your views ?

not sure about this one, safest bet would be to acept paypal i think, nochex does not accept overseas payment. if the cash value is low you could accept sterling cash, i have done this for a customer from ireland and they were happy to accept the risk of it going missing in transit.

Yea I have had quite a few buyers from overseas and the payments have so far turned out fine with palpal when they have paid in sterling.

I was thinking of taking the palpal links off my auctions all together as I've signed up for nochex so can use that for the uk payments. But if someone from overseas wins the item then I would arrange an payment using paypal without the need for ebay getting involved. This is something i'm going to trial out next week.

Oh one more question about Nochex, does the link to pay show up when you send an invoice like it does with paypal ? or will they have to go back to the auction page and click the nochex pay now link ?

only use nochex for website (lower cost) but still use paypal for ebay items. i think that nochex has an icon you can use for ebay but dont know if this links to them or not,

I had a quick look last night and I must say I don't like the layout of it all. Its not as easy on the eye as something like this for example.

I agree with the layout of ebay chat rooms but the advice is given pretty quickly, usually within 2-3mins of posting. boards always seem very lively and good for a debate. (not to say this one is not)
    lol

Buyers from abroad can pay you by Bank Transfer.
You will need to give them your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) and BIC Swift Code. These can be found on your bank statements.
Your buyer will probably have to pay a fee to their bank but it shouldn't cost you anything to receive payments.
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
