Personally I would go for the Vaillant - I have always fitted Vaillants to my houses and have never had a problem.
I'm a sparks by trade but our firm have a heating division so i'm always wiring up the systems.
I see more Vaillants fitted than other brands with Bosch coming 2nd - I also see lots of glowworms and Baxi's.
Hope this helps.0 -
Post card is in the post........
But in the mean time not number 1 as I have never heard of them so parts and servicing could be a problem compared with numbers 2 & 3. Between those 2 it depends on getting a 5 year warranty from an manufacturer approved installer.0 -
Searching the internet I came to the conclusion that all three are good brands. I chose a Worcester Bosch as they had little negative feedback from owners, and colleagues have them. Now where is the icon for a sheep ...
Also, they are made in Britain, which can't be bad, even though they are part of the Bosch empire.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -
Worcester may be assembled in Britain.
I would go for the Atmos Inter 32. If you can hold out until October 1st, it will have a standard 5 year warranty on it as well as the 10 year heat exchanger warranty.
A lot less parts to go wrong on the Atmos.0 -
Thanks Gas4you
I will be going with the Atmos but unfortunately can not hold out until October.
Currently they are offering 2 year standard so we will have to settle for this one.0 -
We had a Vaillant combi-boiler fitted about 3 years ago and so did our neighbours. We've been really pleased with it -touch wood(!). My sister had a Worcester combi about the same time as well and she's had no problems so far. ours is pretty simple to use with an electronic display and a couple of dials. Our neighbours had a control board fitted elsewhere in their house as the boiler went in a back cupboard and they seem to get on with that quite well with no problems.0
