Just Cancelling British Gas?

I need to cancel British Gas not swap or change it to a new address.

I've already sorted our new supplier out our new bought home.

But have British Gas at our current rented property with our notice running out at the start of September.

I can only find a moving house section on British Gas website nothing about just leaving.

Phone up and tell them job?

Can i do that now or wait till the end of notice, as there will be irregular use during the month as we clean up etc..?

Cheers :)
