    I have been in and out with my washing 4 times today, the weather cannot make up its mind.

    I am not going to use the tumble drier in August!:D

    BB - He's a big boy, with no budgeting skill - he'll just get takeaways if i leave it to him! However, have decided to just get bits out the freezer for him.

    Kitchen is cleaned, so i just need to pack, and sort myself out.

    Not sure what to do for dinner :( OH's going to be late, so just need to worry about me.

    Evening All,

    Had a funny day, was in a strange mood and went back to bed mid afternoon for a couple of hours sleep. Feeling a bit better now, and have just ut dinner in the oven - roast baby potatoes with paprika and garlic oil, and hm veggie sausage rolls. I haven't cooked properly for ages :o I forgot how much I enjoy getting stuck in, and had a great time chopping and mixing - even made my own puff pastry as I had none in :D

    DH will be in with DS2 from footie shortly, its been raining cats and dogs all day here, no doubt he will be drenched, poor pet.

    Hugs to all the worried pee'ed off and poorlies, have a nice evening.

    Hi Everyone,

    Dull and grey today. Rain forecast but not arrived here yet, tho' we could really do with some.
    Had a plea from a church in Tottenham where they are helping victims of the rioting. They wanted underwear, towels and baby stuff. No babies here but unloaded the airing cupboard and liberated a lot of towels ( we tend to use just the top few of the pile), my late Dad's new underwear and pyjamas (from which I have at last finished removing the name tags). Just glad to be able to help a bit.
    Bought 12 sausages for £1.00 on Monday. Tues we had sausages, potato bake, grilled tomatoes and baked beans. Wed: sausages, new potatoes, runner beans and carrots. Today: sausages, yesterday's left over potatoes sauteed and salad. All veg and salad came from the garden, so with the addition of a few bits from the store cupboard that was 3 days main meals for the two of us for the princely sum of £1.00.
    Am feeling very smug.

    Lou: sorry I missed your birthday. Hope it was good.

    Ooohhh monnagran,I have near on 100 towels :eek::eek: I know i know;)
    Anyhow I am more than willing to pass some on to help, where do you have to send them please
    Paul Walker , in my dreams;)
