just thought i would ask a question out of interest.

Do people on here opt in of being contacted by these comp promotions or not,thought it would be intersting to find out weather most people that opt in are the winners or not even though it says in the t&c of the comps that "the winner will be chosen at random"

Do you win many comps if you opt out of getting more info from the company?

Opt out. I get enough junk in my mailbox as it is! With some comps you have to opt in, bit unfair really. Not sure whether it makes any difference to whether you win or not though? Hope not! I have won a few things opting out.

Opt out. Competitions are supposed to be strictly regulated and organisers have to abide by the competition rules so if you do not need to opt in it should make no difference. :beer: :beer:

I have this bad habbit of phoning home when Im not there to ask If any mail has come, ie competition prizes...It's becoming a addition!

im like pot'o'gold - opt in in case it increases your chances:)

you usually get to here about other promotions too - but i do have an email address just for competitions
