Oh bum. I thought I'd get the missing magazine to help out but I bought TaB instead of That's Life Sorry. If no-one else has it I can make another trip to the shop to look for it tomorrow?

Hi all.

I'd like to know what are the rules for creating a new competition thread.
I've read the rules thread and couldn't find anything why was my thread deleted.

I created a thread about a site i found which runs a weekly challenge. The challenge consists in making sports picks.
At the end of the week the first 3 get cash prizes.

I got 2nd last week and can confirm that i have been paid through paypal.

So, after my explanation, what were the reasons why my thread was deleted?

Perhaps because your other posts have been linked to gambling & betting sites involving money.
We don't want to know about them in this forum.

Sorry about it, at least i've got an explanation.

As for the competition, that competition doesn't involve any money, it's open to everyone and don't have any gambling site associated.
They only want people to pick on sports.

Has anyone fathomed out yet how to get on to the comps page without having to go through the main forum page everytime. Its missing off the shopping tab or is it just me.

Are you looking for the 'clickable' below Banking/Saving at the top of this page?

No, Thrupneybit, before you used to be able to click on the shopping tab, and that brought up chat forums and then competitions, which was much easier than now, and didn't involve scrolling down, and trying to find comps on the main forum page. You should be able to click the shopping/spending tab at the top, and competitons should come up on the Relevent Forums box on the right. Hope this explains what is missing. I'm sure I can't be the only one who has found this irritating.

Ummm, I don't usually start out anywhere but Heredirect from my favourites, then pop back & forth around the various comp forums.
Perhaps we all have different procedures

I just type 'fo' in the url box and the first thing it brings up in the list is the comps forum!

Simply because there aren't the resources to check or enter into any sort of discussion, so if there's a complaint or two threads & users get deleted.
