YEARS!,,,,,,,, Then I think it's time for you to change your tactics & move the luck more into your favour, Try entering some skill comps like tiebreakers, captions, recipe, photos, it's the only way you can be sure that your entry will be judged.
As for fixed, No Way, theres too many people who win regularly, if it was a fix they wouldn't.
Best advice is:
"If you enter like you've always entered you'll win like you've always won"0 -
I was comping for 6 months before I won anything and even then it was only a CD. Then I had to wait about another 3 months after that for the next win.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

So far I haven't entered any tiebreaker comps or any skill-based ones. So all I've done is fill in forms. It's hard to see how you can enter these ones any differently!
Do you regular winners tend to get most of your wins from skill-based comps? If not, then there's no reason a newbie should have less chance than a comp addict.Wins to date:
Jul 2007: Nintendo DS Lite, Gardening Tools, Bananarama CD, 2 x Women's Open Golf Tickets (worth £50 each)
Aug 2007: Shrek backpack,Tick remover, Firehouse Dog goodies
Sep 2007: Box of Wispas
Oct 2007: £5 Amazon voucher0 -

I'm afraid I don't have the talent to think up tie breakers or captions, that's why avoid those competitions. I agree - it's probably also why I don't win. :sad:0 -
Started comping early last year, but on and off. Started entering regularly about Feb/March time, and had my first proper win just over a week ago!!!
The £15 i won was in a daily draw that i had been registered with for over a year before i was picked!!!0 -

That's only assuming every entry is actually viewed. Call me cynical but I can't imagine that's the case for all the skill-based competitions. With regard to slogans, more likely somebody just picks the first decent one they come across.0 -
I started comping almost every day from Jan 2007, so only 4 months, and I have not won anything yet.:j 2010 wins

Took me 6 weeks to get a prize ... it was coffee slender, & I had just given up caffeine :rotfl::rotfl:
Usually I get small wins (CDs book, doll etc) which come in waves, but I did get £100 clothes voucher this month
I spend far too long on here & I need to give some stuff away (clothes to the charity drop off or something I don't use to freecycle) to boost my karma0
