I'm off to Croatia next week and wondered about the currency. Should I only take the local currency Kuna or do some places prefer Euros ?
It hadn't occured to me NOT to take Kuna, but a couple of websites are suggesting that in some areas Euros are preferred.

You can always pay in Kuna. Some places, but not all, will also accept euros.0

I would imagine Euros are only "preferred" where they rip you off on the exchange rate!0 -
