Switching Nightmare

Options
In May 2006 I used an online site to move suppliers (from Scottish Power to N Power) for Dual fuel.

N Power have manged to bill me for Gas monthly by Direct Debit as per agreement, however they have not billed for any electric!!!!

Have contacted them some time ago as they thought I was a pre payment customer and agreed it was their fault. Since then, it's gone into a black hole again. Its not my fault as they have always had my bank details to charge monthly electric charges.

Can anyone advise what to do?

  • I switched to NPower and they were fine until there was a problem with my DD payments which they seemed incapable of sorting out. I switched again to Atlantic and NPower immediately got their act together and had the problem sorted straight away (although I still dumped them).

Phone them and tell them you're switching supplier (even if you aren't going to) and they'll soon tell you exactly what you owe them. Always try and get things like them admitting it's their fault in writing as they inevitably deny it.
