Today 4th May 2013
I phoned Sky to complain about being charged 50p for timeline Accsess 123 for a 2 second call, which I did not have and that there was no one in the house we were all at a funeral, and after being stern with them they agreed to take it off my bill, and they said to keep an eye on my bill on a daily basis and let them know if it appears again,
I must add that I told them this is common on Sky I have seen it on many forums and they did take note. :T0 -
Yes, it's normally caused by someone messing about with the dialling prefix on their Sky box and inserting 123 not realising what they're doing.
I have 1280 inserted on mine to force it to dial out on BT so that I know it cannot dial 09 calls (I have them barred - free - with BT).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
I have no idea but it made me think of this
