Can anyone recommend a campsite near or in Dorset/Devon? we want to go zorbing and combine it with a week away. The site needs to have lots for children and pitches for tents.

thanks in advance!

    Also try - availablepitch.com

In Dorset - Beacon hill at Poole is good, as is Warmwell park.

In Devon - try Cofton Holidays, loads of stuff for kids to do, just outside Dawlish.

woodlands at totnes is great for familys. it isnt cheap but has its own theme park which is free to those camping.also indoor stuff just in case great british weather rears its ugly head. the swimming pool is not very big but fun enough for small kids.plenty of beaches round and about.we are going again this year as it is as quiet or noisy as you want it to be!

zorbing is rolling down a hill in a big ball sometimes filled with water.my brother reckons its a passport to early dementia as hes convinced it mushes your brain but i personally wouldnt mind giving it a go

Hi, zorbing is where you are strapped into a big clear ball and pushed down a hill!

Think of it a bit like one of those hamster balls but big enough for a human. You can do it alone or in a pair and choose between normal zorbing and hydro zorbing, where they throw water in with you as well :-)
