I was trying to get art deco rennie mackintosh invites. Was wanting
to get them through vistaprint to try and save some money, but have seen a few nice ones elsewhere but between £1.50-£3.00 each. Having a nightmare trying to find a design/font that I can actually use at the 300dpi pixel quality vistaprint asks for. Found a cd rom
where you can get the icons/fonts but it's £25 which isn't very money saving if there's not a design I like on it.Tempted to give up but really like the idea of them!0 -
This is a great website to download free fonts and icons: dafont.com. You'll find icons under the 'Dingbats' section.

just trying to find a way to make them myself!0 -
Hi
I've used a 1920s style font on my invites. If you search under posts I've done you might find the link that someone put on.
Also, could you not print the picture and mount it on the invites? That's how I'm doing mine as I'm having a Jack Vetriano picture on the front mounted on black and silver.0 -
I spotted these in Monsoon the other day, I know it's white but could possibly be dyed, I don't know much about that sort of thing. I thought it could work for the 20's theme though. http://www.monsoon.co.uk/invt/85331841
Just wanted to say that this dress style (they do a lot of different colour/pattern variations) is really flattering on regardless of size. I have two friends with it - one is 5'11"/size 8/completely flat chested and another is 5'3"/size 16/hiyuge boobies and both looked stunning in it!
