Recently changed banks and swapped all my direct debits and standing orders over. One is due to come out in the next few days but is still showing on both accounts. Obviously i dont want it to come out twice.
Anybody have any advice on this? Is this normal and will it worl out ok? or should i querie it with the bank etc
Thanks

Is the one that's 'due to come out' a standing order or direct debit? If it's a standing order you need to contact the Banks asap to clarify the situation, if a direct debit, check with the originating company (the people you're paying the money to),Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

Under the direct debit scheme, you will be able to claim back the money collected from your old account if it is collected from both, so you won't end up out of pocket, and if by any chance it is collected and pushes you into an unauthorised overdraft or over your limit, the bank would normally refund any charges too, providing they have already been informed of your intention to switch accounts and/or the company collecting the DD have been informed.
It also wouldn't do any harm to contact your old bank in the meantime to confirm that you don't wish it to be paid - they might ask for you to put it in writing.0
