My son had my Halifax clarity card and his Halifax debit card but has stupidly lost them both!
Is there an easy way to get a new card to him, or to send him some cash?
He is travelling so it makes it a little awkwerd but in a but 3 days he will be stopping in one place for 6 days.

Money transfer places are all over India. A few years ago I had money sent over to me in India via Western Union and its very quick and simple, but quite expensive. If you are sending quite alot of money, then I'm pretty sure that Halifax is part of RBS now, and they have branches in India:

iirc you can transfer money to be picked up there, and he should then be able to change that into dollar travellers cheques so that he isn't carrying around a load of cash. Obviously there will be various charges and commissions to be paid.0 -
Halifax is not part of the RBS Group - it is part of of the Lloyds Banking Group which includes Bank of Scotland.Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion
