Website Advice Needed

Hi i need a website building for my Sunbed shop but don't really have a great deal of cash to work with. My Husbands brother said he has used constructingwebsites.co.uk to build his gardening business which cost him less than £50 and it was a really good deal.
Has anybody else used them because £50 sounds really good considering what i was quoted on a few other sites?

    I'll do it for £49 :)
  • I think you get what you pay for when it comes to this sort of thing, plus what you need to think about is just because you build a website it doesn't mean people are going to find it, visit it, so you need a company to optimise it or advertise it for you on Google, lots of hosting companies now days offer web building packages free with the hosting, you could always try something like that? I would concentrate your marketing efforts on local area stuff, like flyers etc until you can afford to do the web thing properly. Otherwise it will just be a waste of money for you.

    I hope that helps :-/

and it looks like the web sites are designed by an 8 year old......not a good advert for a business

and for some strange reason each Page is constructed as an image rather than using standard Web design ???

    Sorry am really really confused.
I do not have a website. I would like one. The gardening website that i referred to in original post is not mine. His site was built over 2 months ago by constructingwebsites who have since put themselves online. Just needed to know if anybody else has used them. But considering by the looks of it they only put their site on 2 days ago it seems unlikely anybody else would have used their online service to have a website built.

So will take it as a NO then.

well as a webhost of 11yrs their site is one of the worst i have ever seen and would not have them design any site for me.

how can a web design company have designed a website 2 months ago but only set up 2 days ago with an online presence with a site that looks like a FREE template from http://www.steves-templates.com/templates.html with words and images added

I agree. Anyone who pays that pile of **** to design a website for them deserves everything to go wrong.
