credit card late payment charges from 2002 ?

hello, is any knowledgeable mser able to confirm if I can claim for two late payment fees of £20 from a credit card statement dated as far back as 2002? i read martin's advice and he says something about legally in england the limit to claim by is within six years? ?

i've also unearthed a few statements from 2007 so i presume they should be fine?

You can try and claim over 6 years - I used section 32 of the Limitations Act - but be aware that they tend to drag their heels a great deal and you may have to go all the way to court. Don't know if it would be worth it for just 2 charges.

Sorry to hijack post, but I am waiting on LTSB to get back to me regarding a SAR, I'm expected lots of charges £25+
CC opened in 1996, would it be worth my while trying to claim this far back and what is section 32 of Limitations Act and did you win?
