You have to laugh at this bit on that description.
have 100% Seller Feedback and will keep it that way so bid with confidence

Because I like to treat a customer, the same way I would my best friend

Well, i'm glad they're not my best friend then.

All he's done is buy 90 ebooks for 1p each. He's not even been registered for 30 days.
It's not the taking part but the winning that counts.

Auction is gone now so I can't check... but perhaps they were miscategorised, ergo, breaking a rule.

Ebay agreed they were in violation of something, otherwise the listing wouldn't have been removed. I think this demonstrates that listings like this aren't 'acceptable', no matter whether we should all read listings carefully.

It'll probably be the listing category.
If it is/was listed in consoles it's in breach because it's an e-book.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
  • So Basically a Police Auctions Ebook, people really need to learn to read auctions fully the only ebay rule broken is listing in wrong area.

    That's enough.

If you're selling an ebook, what the hell are you doing listing in the TV, or mobile, or electronics section?

Anyway, ebay pulled it. Nuff said.

Yes. His advert is misleading, but it clearly states it's for an e-book, so he has *technically* done nothing wrong, and is praying on idiots who do not read auctions fully.

    Taken from ebay help pages:

    Misleading Titles

Sellers are not permitted to create titles for their listings that do not accurately describe the item for sale.

Breaches of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

    Listing cancellation

    Limits on account privileges

    Account suspension

Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings

    Loss of PowerSeller status

    Some Examples Hide

The title "Louis Vuitton Handbag, Cartier" is inappropriate and not permitted on eBay (even if a Cartier item is included as a bonus gift with purchase of the handbag) because it is unclear as to whether the seller is offering one or two items from the title.

If a seller lists an item simply as “Apple iPod”, the seller must be selling an actual Apple iPod – not accessories to an Apple iPod, or items related to or unrelated to an Apple iPod.

There is no mention of the ebook in the title!
