Which card? Free flight to New York with £500 Spend

Options
Does anyone know which Credit card is currently offering a free flight to New York for new signups before 26th March 2005 that spend £500 or more using this card by 14th June 2005?

An eBay profiteer writes: "rest assured that this offer is by a very reputable credit card company, one of the largest in the USA, so you get what it says on the tin!"

Any ideas? The eBay item number is 6514740304 for anyone interested. But most of the relevant details are duplicated above.

Thanks

Stephann

I'm not sure that I'd fall over myself to take up that offer. The "free" flight doesn't include taxes/charges (as usual with "free" flight scams) and the full Ts & Cs aren't available until you sign up. Any bets that you get no choice over the date of the flight, which airport/airline you fly with, etc.?

If it is like previous offers you will also have limited say of which city it turns out to be, you will have to travel during the winter, and it will only be for 1 person with a second seat available at overblown prices.

Having said all that it's still not a bad deal as long as you understand that's what you are getting.

    Thanks for that!

I missed out on the latest Marbles offer where a £1000 spend would get you a flight to Mauritius, Maldives, South Africa etc. so I think I'll have to settle for New York!

But what about that amazing offer on CDs?:

"Up to 40% savings on chart CDs and DVDs at CD-WOW! with free delivery on every order. That means that as an MBNA cardholder you get new release CDs for only £8.49 delivered to your door."

What a fantastic example of marketing BS. Actually, that's a 25p saving over the standard CD-WOW price. Although if you follow the link they give (https://www.cd-wow.com/mc), the price that comes up is £8.25, so that's a 50p saving. It looks like you get the saving whether or not you have this card, unless it will refuse to process an order unless you have the right card number.
