Hello all
Well following on from several people's good advice on here and now a week in on refurbishing a house myself and my wife bought 2 weeks ago, i thought i would start a diary to keep track of the works and hopefully offer discussions and insights to others looking to do the same.
I am a 30 year old very keen DIY-er and have decided to undertake as much work as i can on the house to save money and also to learn skills that i can use on future repairs/projects. What this means is a huge learning curve for me but one that i am enjoying.
I hope that you enjoy reading my posts.
I will post a few retrospective posts based on my work this last two weeks to bring things up to date.
Perhaps by the end of this process i can offer advice to others out there in the moneysavingexpert forum land!
