in Credit cards
I have just managed to pay off all my Credit Cards.
Now I have a superb credit rating, my score is 881 on Experian records. Marked as Good.
So I was going to keep 2 cards out of the 5 and hand the rest back so they show settled on my credit file. However, would that be the best option, or keep the cards but dont use them so I still have a credit repot made every month from the credit card companys?
There will be no temptaion to use them.

Tell us what cards they are and we can give advice as to which ones are handy to keep - credit limits might be handy as well0

Sorry,
Arrow Card formerly Warrior Card Limit 3K
Citi Bank Limit 500
Capital Silver Limit 600
Capital Premier Limit 400
Egg Limit 1200
I will never use them unless its an emergency as I now have a few quid in bank and earn good money so getting in debt is not an option, however I do wish to get mortgage in next 5 years so wish to keep a good credit rating.Sarah x0 -
Bin all except Egg - Egg has a 0% anniversary offer - do you know when this is (its the same month as when you orginally opened the card, secure message them to find out).
Unless any of the others do a decent cashback rate I can't see any benefit from having them...0
