bathroom stuff - better quality alternative to Homebase & Dunlemn?

Morning! I know this is a fairly trivial post, but we've got quite a bit of bathroom stuff (seat, toilet brush, mirror) from both homebase & dunlemn. Problem is the quality is so bad that they go rusty very quickly (with the toilet seat, its the hinges etc) & end up having to replace them. Can anyone recommend where we could go to get better quality/something that would last a bit longer? I tend to think that argos, b & q etc would be pretty similar, but could be wrong.

I've had the same problem - I'm looking for a new seat myself at the moment - I've found you do need to spend quite a bit more to get something that lasts - chrome plated brass doesn't rust but you won't have to throw it away and buy another in a few years.0
