Have spent past 3 years with sheets of hardwood on kitchen floor because I wanted large black porcelain tiles but within my limited budget. FInally seen some in B&Q. Few bits of advice please:
1. Should I buy these or not?
2. DO they need gaps leaving between for grout or do they just butt right up to each other?
3. Any hidden techniques for laying this type of floor tile, and aftercare?
MAny thanks

I am aware of problems surrounding the B&Q ones from 3 years ago, but was thinking (hoping) that the company may have made changes to the product by now as it has not stocked this type of tile since then. Will look and see if any more recent comments have been added. Thanks0

Just an observation - I have black marble tiles in my bathroom. They look stunning BUT they show every mark, drip, hair etc so need constant attention to stay looking good - almost daily. I've got some pale grey veined tiles in my kitchen/utility - they've been down 20 years now & look as good as new & are SO forgiving!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
