Removing WoodBurner Stove

Hi all,
We have a Morso stove which we are taking with us when we move house in the next few weeks.
My question is can we remove the chimney liner & take it with us & refit it to the chimney in the new house? Also does it have to be done by a HETAS fitter?
Cheers
Ian

Reinstallation requires a HETAS fitter. Removal does not, as you will not be leaving a working installation. I cannot see any sense in removing the chimney liner:
- it will probably cause you much more bother than forking out for a new liner - unless you really mean the short length of pipe connecting the stove to the chimney
- I doubt a HETAS installer will want to use second hand liner for your new installation
- And finally, the liner may not be long enough for the new installation
Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
(As mentioned above) Do the buyers know you are taking the fire and liner?
I don't think I would be very happy at all.0
