it stinks ebay is becoming a joke its all for the seller

I thought you were the seller ?
  • I sold some jeans on ebay which don't fit me but were brand new with tags. The person who bought them emailed me to say that they had been worn and washed. I knew that this was impossible and if they had been washed the tag wouldn't be in perfect condition, but as a gesture of goodwill I offered a full refund upon return of the item. They then sent lots of emails asking for more money than the full price (they are based in France) to cover their postage. I stuck to my guns and said I would give them a full refund as a gesture but no more money!! They said they sent the jeans back to me 9 days ago now and they haven't arrived and they are now demanding a refund and emailing me around 3 times a day to chase! But I will definately not be giving them any money until I have the item back! I have nearly 400 feedback and they have less than 10. So it isn't always for the seller - sellers do have problems too!!

I think this is very unfair to the seller ,it seems that no one protect the seller's rights..

too right ebay protection is solely to protect the buyer sooner google release an auction site the better :rotfl:

So when a rival auction site takes away buyer protection..how exactly is that going to attract buyers? sellers are easy to get, look at some of th elong standing ebay rivals, it's buyers that are difficult to attract.

Although I am primarily a seller I also buy a great deal and wouldn't touch a site that did not protect me as a buyer.

yes but surely its too one sided ebay is making people not want to sell when you as a seller knew the item was in good condition when sold you feel a liar when you know youre not.
