Stomach Cramps / Trapped Wind?

anyone got any suggestions to get rid of the above? Its soooo uncomfortable Thanks x

After my OH got his appendix out he said he was in agony. A nurse moved him to his side and moved his knees up. OH says he gave out a huge fart and the pain went. He said he'd no idea trapped wind could be so painful!
