OMG Lupyloo, you poor thing!!! Personally, I would ring your local police station and register the incident with them, just in case. They may also be able to give you some advice on what's best to do. I really hope that's the last you hear from those horrible people. xxx0

Save the answerphone message and call the police (non emergency number)?
Or save the message, email them and tell them if you ever hear from them again you will call the police.
Buy the £30 waistcoat and forget about this crap- have a fabulous day. £30 isnt so much for a peaceful wedding day.0 -
Can you buy the BHS waistcoat and sell it on again afterwards? Or would it be possible to rent one for the day? (I'm not sure if that would cost you significantly more, though??)
Sending you huge hugs. What a horrible thing to happen so close to your wedding! Personally, I would not cancel the Paypal dispute, though - you have bought the item in good faith and it is NOT as advertised. Why should you pay twice because the first one was not what the seller promised?Original debts: £14,250
Still to pay: £250 /£950 - Lloyds TSB overdraft (although with interest and charges, I've already paid £1,675!)
VSP#150 - £68.250 -
Save the message, contact the police and proceed with the paypal complaint. Don't let them intimidate you, you shouldn't have to pay for their bad behaviour.0

def call the police. And take notes of any contact the seller or her husband has with you. Bad seller! we are not all like that thankfully.
If it helps I have the green swirly BHS waistcoat in a 38. I was just going to pop it on ebay so just pm me if you are interested. It does have some pulls on the satin though. Material seems to pull easily and it was worn by my 15 year old autistic nephew so not as cared for maybe than if worn by an adult. I can email pics if you like.
If it were me I would want the groom to have a nice new one so personally I would go ahead and order the BHS one, you can always resell afterwards and I think you can do without the hassle. Perhaps you can get cashback or a voucher discount somewheres to help reduce the costs?
Dont let some idiots spoil the run up to your wedding... its frightening when people are aggressive but you really have to rise above it (just keep your wits about you and dont get drawn into a slanging match). Hope you feel better today!0 -

Thanks for all the hugs guys
I have now purchased a waistcoat from BHS and hope I can put this whole sorry affair behind me. As far as I can see I have no rights via proloved so I will not use them again. I have decided against going to the police incase this infuriates the seller even more, I have a family and I am not prepared to put them in any kind of danger for the sake of a few quid. At the end of the day they have my address and I dont feel safe continuing with any kind of action against seller. So I have also closed paypal case. It is just too close to my wedding to have wonder if they willl come knocking on the door. The whole situation has left a very bitter taste in my mouth and to be truthfull I am still shaken up.
I am hoping to draw a line under it and get on with planning my happy day, I appreciate everyones comments and thanks for making me see sense
