I have bought all of my waistcoats and cravats second hand to save money. Got the last 2 I needed from preloved or so I thought. Picked up the parcel yesterday and I couldnt beleive the state of the grooms waistcoat. I am very happy with the other items I bought from her but really upset about OH waistcoat. The lady had said it had a small hardly noticeable mark on the back, I told her it was for the groom so I didnt know if I should get it but she assured me it ironed out, and looked fine.
Well I am in tears, OH has refused to wear it and I dont blame him it has 4 very noticeable marks on the same place and they are all small holes. No idea what it is off all I know is it is certainly no good for wedding.
Now I have 2 weeks to find another green bhs waistcoat size 38/40, not to mention the fact that I have payed for one that is no good. Can I ask for a refund when buying off preloved? First time I have ever bought anything through them.
Searched ebay and preloved again and placed a wanted ad, dont know what else to do, any ideas? They do have it on the bhs website but really cant afford another £35.00 for 1 waistcoat.

thanks purple sarah, filed a complaint with preloved and paypal. Cant believe how quickly some people will just totally ignore any concerns and wish you a happy wedding day lol. Complaint wont be escalated until 29th though which is 5 days after my wedding!!! Should i just go for it and get the BHS one. Can anyone offer any advice, just been threatened by the husband of this seller, screaming and swearing down the phone (answerphone as it was unkonown number)sayine I am a thieving c**T. He screamed at me I dont know who he is! I have closed because this is what set him off cos he has no money and paypal is linked to his debit card. really aggressive, I am shaking, fiance is furious, the sellers husband has threatened to come to my house on tuesday. Fiance says let him come, dont know who these people are and my wedding is in 2 weeks. I'm completely and utterly worn out. Dont know what to do. Have cancelled the claim via paypal as this is what set him off but Im really scared. This is the first and last time I ever buy from preloved.
