Focus leaking water

Ive got a 52 plate diesel Focus.

Last night the Wife travelled about 70 miles and when she came back she noticed a smallish amount of water ont he road where parked. When she brought it back home there was a smal amount of water dripping from under the bonnet on the passenger side.

Unfortunately it was dark so couldnt really determine anything. Today ive had a look and cant see any evidence of water been dripping from anywhere. Ive also been out for about a 20 mile drive and no water dripping

Any thoughts?

Starting with the easy answers first - have you checked whether the water level has dropped significantly in the reservoir ? could it be condensation from the air con which can accumulate under the car when stopped ?i.e. did your wife have the air con on last night and you didn't?

More mechanical experts will be along later

Air con evaporator dripping, the evaporator has a drain tube fitted to allow the condensation from the evaporator to drain away from the vehicle.
