    Your weblink did not make it clear if you got £35 per signup for 1 - 20 or if it was £35 for all 20, and then 42 pounds thereafter. I think it would be the former. This buy.at site seems to be some sort of affiliate site for businesses. These things just confuse the hell out of me like quidco etc so I have no idea of the commission is available to you and me or not.

    And I think "Steve" is trying to get some signup commisions.

    I've been to the Scottish Power website and found some details on Online energysaver 2 but no mention of any referral commissions.

    These are their prices

    Online Energy Saver 2
    The Online Energy Saver 2 is a new offer from ScottishPower which could save you even more in return for managing your account online.
    When other companies are charging you more, we have increased our discounts to help you save more.
    Online Energy Saver 2 discount of £63.00 per year (inc. VAT)+
    Gas & Electricity Offer discount of up to £15.75*
    + ScottishPower guarantees that the Online Energy Saver 2 discount quoted above will be fixed until at least 1st January 2008, unless we are prevented from doing so by the actions of requirements of any governmental, statutory or licensing authority.
    * Full annual discount of £15.75 (inc. VAT) is available in ScottishPower and Manweb former host PES areas for Gas & Electricity Offer customers paying monthly by Direct Debit. All other customers, in all areas, who qualify for the Gas & Electricity Offer discount, will continue to receive an annual discount of £10.50 (inc. VAT).

    I can't see this tariff quoted on the switch sites.

    but I did my own calculations

    24,000kwh gas
    2000 kwh elec
    swalec area

    online energy saver 2 = £960.50
    ??? discount £63
    ??? discount £10.50
    total = £887

    Ebico = £839

    The more electricity you use the less will be the result in Ebico favour.

    Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper Rampant Recycler
    Wig,
    I read it and assumed that it must be £35 each for the first 20 customers.

    As you say this Steve Lynch is just trying to set himself up as a 'middleman'.

    Ebico is cheaper for gas(no daily charge) and the more you use the greater the saving.

    It's not a bad tariff for the Midlands but certainly not the best available.
