Can any body help, I've got a ford zetec x reg. My heater don't turn off its blows out heat no matter what its on. I've changed the valve and that was not the prob as still doing it wasted 40 pound so has anyone got any ideas as wat it could be as don't want to waste anymore money if its not gonna work please help as to hot to be having heater on x

What Ford model is it? The valve you mention is what usually jams open on Kas and Fiestas....

if you have spent forty sheets it must be a fiesta
take the pipes off and get an assistiaunt to turn control inside car as you look in the black hole
you should see the valve popping open shut
or connect it to a battery
youve either bought a duff poor copy (dealer price now £40 ) or its the control board inside car gone faulty
duff copy heater valves on zetec engines cause car to overheat by the way

Hi yeah it is a fiesta and brought valve from ford. Had friend look at all that and still nothing . Must be the dial thing I think he tried a tester thing on the bak of the actual dial and the volt thing did not change or something so he thinks it might be that. I just want to double check b4 I buy anything else for it x
