Can I insist or are there consumer laws that allow me to request a morning or afternoon delivery/collection rather than wait the whole day?

In one word - "no". If you don't like a supplier's delivery terms, order from one that gives you the flexibility you want. You will probably have to pay more money for the service though.0

Our company uses a courier that will text or mail you a 1 hour slot for delivery. Works a treat and our customers love it.0

Simple answer is no, if the website doesnt ask you what time you want the delivery to be made(ebuyer is 1 that comes to mind) then no its not possible and there are no consumer laws.0
