Hi,
Im not sure that this is in the right place, but looking for some advice.
01/08/11 -I bought an iphone on ebay and paid £350 via paypal the same day.
I had no contact with the seller so i rasied a claim with paypal and escalated it to a claim straight away.
Paypal have given the seller until the 14/08/11 to respond.
What if he doesn't respond? Do i get my money back?
also if he doesnt have nay funds in his paypal account - do i not get my money back etc
Please help as worrying lots about this.
Thanks

As far as i know all payments done via Paypal are fully protected, so you'll get your money back even if he doesn't have funds.0

well true to a point.
if you win the claim paypal will refund from the seller account as the funds would have been frozen, that if the seller have not already removed the funds from his paypal account.
either way you wll get an email from paypal saying you have won, we have attempted to recover funds from the sellers account but he does not have them.
then you need to argue with paypal that the funds are due to you and then eventually paypal will give your money back from their own funds, so in effect the sellers account will be untouched.0 -
thanks for all your replies.
I am covered by the Ebay buyer protection as this was stated on the auction.
I know this isn't an easy question, but how long after the deadline of the 14/08/11 will it take to be refunded my money?0
