I have great difficulty understanding why, when someone has the money to buy a property (any type) outright and then live rentless /mortgage free, they would then feel the need to commit fraud and claim housing benefit? Makes absolutely no sense to me at all!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

"I have great difficulty understanding why the rich attempt to reduce the amount of tax they pay, when they would have no difficulty paying it. Makes absolutely no sense to me at all!"
I find it depressing that attempting to do one thing - benefit maximisation by questionably legal schemes - is looked on by most 'right thinking people' horror, and yet the exact same thing done by rich people is taken as an inalienable right.
It's the same pot of money, and the rich people just have better advisers.
