Good morning,
Wondering if any of you knowledgeable people could answer me this question please?
We have two CC - Virgin which the 0% BT offer comes to and end in Sept, so we've now opened a Barclaycard with 2 years 0% on and transferred the outstanding balance onto that. Is it now possible to do a cash transfer from the Virgin card into our current account - I know I'll have fees to pay - & then transfer it to the 0% Barclaycard. Would there be any other hidden costs except the cost of the transfer etc that are stated in the T & Cs.
Any advice and "nice" opinions are gratefully received.
Many thanks.

So the question is can you make two BTs in quick succession from the same card to Barclaycard?
I would suggest it's best to ask Barclaycard that question. Maybe tell them that you've recently spent on the Virgin card but the transaction hasn't been posted yet?
Another option, depending on how long you want the money for, is to hang fire and if you've previously managed the Virgin account well they may come up with a follow on offer very shortly. Would save you a 2.8% fee, although you'd only possibly get around 12 months 0% for your 4% fee (unless it's a Virgin Atlantic card in which case it'd be a 2% fee if your T&Cs are the same as mine).
"Nice" enough for you?0 -
Absolutely Yorkshireboy, bloomin beautiful.:)
Though in all seriousness, thanks very much for your reply.
Virgin have already rang and offered us a further 0% on BT and I asked at the time if that included cash transfers but it doesn't at the moment, maybe worth hanging fire for a while & see if they make an offer.
Thanks again x0 -

My last offer (to be repaid next month) was on BTs only, but I managed to get them to include money transfers as well...£19K at 0% for 12 months with a 2% fee.0
