Table Cameras!

What do you all think of this idea, i will need 25 as i plan to put 5 on each table. I was thinking of making it myself, buying the envelopes, and then putting blank CDs inside, i dont want them to look tacky, and i wasnt sure how i would display them on the tables?

    I've been Money Tipped!
We are having a basket near the guestbook/postbox with envelopes with blank CDs inside for people to send their pictures back to us. Those do look nice but I bet you could make something similar. Worth looking on vistaprint? x

Are you having that insted of table cameras, or as well as?

I too was thinking that, about putting them on the table with the cake and the post box, then it can be mentioned in the speeches!

I can get cds from the £1 shop or somwhere, and i can get 25 card enevlopes for 4.49

or 100 clear ones like this in a basket with a little poem at the front

if they was in the top ones, i could put my address on the front?

i would need a basket? i have abasket for my fli flop basket, i just need ones for these cds....hmmm

    What do you think? x

  • Hi we are stealing this idea from friends who got married last year. They had the usher at the end of the table in the evening and gave out the discs with the cake in the cake box.
We have decided we are sending ours out with the thank you cards. That way theres none that get left behind on the evening, or stuffed in a bag and forgotten about. And we can put a note into each envelope explaining what the discs for.

The problem with disposable cameras as well is that you have to pay for developing, and ive known people to spend a small fortune on the developing and end up with only having one picture on some cameras, or one full of blurry pics! At least with digital ones, people will edit out all of the crap ones and just send you the usable ones!!

    Part of the Furniture
Some of them are also *REALLY* annoying! I was at a freiends wedding recently where they had disposable cameras. The charging of the flash made a very high pitched noise that those with "young" and/or undamaged ears" could hear. That for a couple of hrs became very annoying!

hahaha oh dear, glad im going with this now, my thinking is that x5 cameras would be £15.00, not including development costs, this way, so far has cost me £4ish. once i get the CDS in total it will be approx £12 - thats all well happy. going to mentioned it before dinner and also in the speeches and then when they get the cake, as thinking people might forget. if the camer is there they will use it, if its not they might not think to use their own so lots of reminding lol xxxx

We are going to do this too. Brought some CD style card envelopes and have put our address on them so they can be posted back to us (will also put on stamp!!) will probably put them in a box/basket for people to take.
