That's either a joke or very naive......
Firstly, the damage to the environment has been done in the manufacture of the car.
This is no different to ANY car on the road..... More harmful emissions are produced in the manufacturing stages, than any car produces from it's exhaust during it's entire life.
Secondly, nothing is free... Electricity costs money, whether it's paying the electricity company or whether it's buying a bank of solar panels (which cost a fortune).
The cheapest and most environmentally friendly way to drive is not to keep buying new cars.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
