    It makes my blood boil when I hear journalists sing the praises of "zero emission" electric cars.

    This is the next big thing! Making people so irate they burn up and in turn creating steam to power their own car! :D

    That's either a joke or very naive......



    Firstly, the damage to the environment has been done in the manufacture of the car.
    This is no different to ANY car on the road..... More harmful emissions are produced in the manufacturing stages, than any car produces from it's exhaust during it's entire life.

    Secondly, nothing is free... Electricity costs money, whether it's paying the electricity company or whether it's buying a bank of solar panels (which cost a fortune).

    The cheapest and most environmentally friendly way to drive is not to keep buying new cars.

    And to make it even better its a death trap... made of fiberglass -that is going to be fabulous in an accident with a metal vehicle weighing twice its weight!
