Dell specs????

DD has a small Dell netbook and DW would like one but looking around there seems to be lots of numbers but little information on them. Even the Dell site does not give much, so where can I find out what is inside the box of current and recently discontinued models?

Download and run Speccy from Piriform, it will tell you all about the PC.

Or run the Dell Support Centre programme that should be supplied.

PS Dell only have one netbook, the Inspiron mini 10.

Thanks, But as I said the ones we are looking at aren't listed. Have been looking at 1018 which is available for £225 with 3 year g'tee, and 1015, DD has 1011 and it is fine for what we want. Speccy is no good as we want to know what is in it before ordering.

The 1018, which is what i have is the only one Dell currently produce, the specs are on the Dell site.
Slightly faster atom processor in the newer models and a better battery.
The 1018 is a bit of a pig to increase the memory size in, which you really need to do as 1Gb with windows 7 is not enough for the netbook to run smoothly.
