Hi everyone,

I'm off to Argentina and Antarctica Saturday for the holiday of a lifetime. Thanks to everyone who has helped with anything I have posted on MSE.com.

    Wot, no internet cafe at the south pole... phhh, hardly worth going.


    Sure it'll be great - looked exciting enough on the telly (Pole to Pole) - you flying or cruising down from Argentina?

    Thermals?? When I was there last January, our expedition leader wore a short sleeve shirt and shorts on one landing. Meanwhile, we had thermals, wellingtons, waterproofs, parkas, hats, gloves, scarves - and were sweltered!

    ABBECER - can you fit in a suitcase? get the bus to crofton in the morning.

    Off on a cruise from Ushuaia. Cant wait will post some pictures when we get back.
