Help please on .WMV file forwarding

Hi there, hopefully I will put this in a way that is understandable

My dad has his e-mail via virgin as part of his computer/telly account, he uses a POP3 connection to Windows Live Mail and reads and forwards all his mail from Windows live mail.

When he forwards e-mails with a .WMV attachment, the recipient gets multiple posts (20+) and a message on each one saying 'the message has been truncated'

Does anyone know the reason for this, and more importantly if it can be altered in settings or anything?

Don't send large files by e-mail. Use something like this:

My dad is 72, what you would call a silver surfer, he has very limited IT skills so adding another layer to his ineptitude is not really an option, but thank you.

This would be his easiest option with large files.
