Mouse pointer disappearing when using Opera

Ive had nothing but trouble since my OH updated my opera browser even though I didnt want him to. He says he cant get the previous version back for some reason.

Tonight, all of a sudden out of the blue, the mouse pointer keeps disappearing. Its an arrow and normally just sits there visible but now disappears then appears when I move the mouse (this is a laptop) but keeps blinking on and off. Nothing has changed in the settings, it just happened a couple of hours ago all by itself.

How can I fix this?

Have you looked in your mouse pointer options and checked the settings?

I search for cursor disappearing problems as I have been having a nightmare since I turned on the pc tonight.

After Googling and trying umpteen things, I finally found the solution.

It is caused by a "bad" website being open in one of the tabs, possibly a flash problem.

2 hours later I closed the last tab I opened before the problem started and that has resolved it.
