Hi guys could you give me your opinion on which is best for collecting airmiles the Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card or collect Tesco clubcard vouchers and swap for airmiles.

Im guessing you mean comparing using the lloyds amex card or the tesco mastercard? If so...

By a country mile the lloyds tsb Amex card, but only the Amex card. Dont use the mastercard version.

For every £1000 you put on the amex card, you get 100 airmiles, 1 per tenner.

For every £1000 you put on tesco you get 250 clubcard points = 50 miles. But thats only half the issue. Amex card is compounded. ie if you spend 3 pound in ten shops, then amex would total that to £30 and give you 3 miles. With tesco they only award in batches of £4. So if you spent 10 x £3 you would get nothing at all!

The best way to collect airmiles is to use the lloyds amex card wherever amex is accepted and where amex is not accepted, there you use the tesco mastercard. Never, ever use the companion lloyds mastercard.

if you mean should you collect amex spends or tesco clubcard vouchers, then the answer is both, paying in tesco with the amex card
