Oooooh that wasn't so bad!!! Well Done to the MSE Team...Thank You for getting us back up and running...

Well I'm currently on £336 for the Week so far....

I'm having to take an hour out at the moment because there is stuff happening with my Dad and the Grandad situation....so I'm waiting for a Phone Call from Dad but am hoping he will Call before 4pm....

And then I want to earn another £14 before 7pm and then taking an hour's break for something to eat and then back for the All-Nighter....

    So that's where I'm at right now....xXx

Hi Helen, great to be back! I thought that we would be down all weekend - well done MSE!

Well, Helen, you appear to be doing very well without Mara and I nagging you constantly, so you are proving that you can do this. You still have a way to go, but you seem to have had a pretty lucrative 24 hours so sure you will get there.

Hope it's good news about your Grandad.

I am aiming for a no spend weekend. We will see how it goes. Summer holidays are sooo expensive with children, as is September (aahhhhhhh - uniform/clubs/lunch money etc....), so trying to save so pennies where I can.... Will do me no hard. I actually treated myself to the Bodyshop Beauty Bundles in this week's moneysaving tips. Got one last year and it was fab, so thought, what the heck, I am worth a little treat. Should be arriving Monday so looking forward to that.

My life has changed sooo much in the last 8-9 years. I used to have a very good glamorous job in town (London) earning pretty good money. Then I met hubby, married, children, redundancy, no money etc etc etc. We live in a good area of London, but sometimes think it is all fur coat and no knickers to borrow a term from elsewhere!!!! We get by, but only by my pretty good money management skills - if I do say so myself ;-)
Yes, we could move away, but I absolutely love love love London.

Thank You for your kind words Pesto hun....I didn't even think of quitting or taking it easy....This is my Life now and it has to continue that way....

I know what you mean about loving London...I do too....I would hate to move away although I DO know that I may have to if the Work is somewhere else when I'm qualified...we shall see....

My Life has changed too...particularly since the rape...but I think mine is more of an emotional change and having to accept things that I don't want to accept sometimes....but I'm getting there....

It sounds like you're happy though hun....Which, at the end of the day, is the most important thing...

Oh and YES you DO deserve a Treat hun xXx

    Hey Helen, hiya Pesto :)

What a lovely afternoon, unexpected visitors meant a seat in the sunshine and a good old natter !

3 lines of washing dried, ironing basket filled again ! Just cooking dinner now, beef olives and new potatos ... Hubby does enjoy his meat ! Just as well really since we have a beef farm !:rotfl:

Helen, youre doing fine, lets hope for a better evening than last night. Hope the news from grandad isnt bad . X

    Hi Helen and Mara

Sorry to hear that your life has changed because of the rape Helen. I had a good friend at University who was raped, and it affected her very badly for a very long term, so I can sort of understand you here. The only thing I can say is that time is a great healer. I know it is a cliche, but it is still very very true. Probably the truest cliche there is!!

How is the money coming along?? Think you said you were having a break for some food, so you are probably not on now. Take care.

Mara - your dinner sounds yummy if I were a meat eater. I don't eat meat but the rest of the family do!

Yum Knit Witch, that does look good !

Helen , hows the bolognaise coming ?

    Any news from north ?

Was supposed to be going out to see family tonight, but hubby has a headache .. Too much strong beer in the sun, i suspect :). So a quiet night in, might cook tomorrows dinner as we are having people over to help with the hay and i will need to feed them ... Beef in beer casserole ( mentioning beer quietly so as not to tick off hubby )
But first .. A catch up on the forums :T.

Ps £336 is good ! But i kinda think you will struggle to get to £490 in 28 hours hun, thats a high high expectation of anyone, but ill cross my toes for you again ! Lol.
