Need to put something on wall to cover patch

The feature wall in my living room has a squarish patch of paint that is a slightly different colour to the rest of the wall. It's too late to repaint the whole wall (the flooring and rads are all on now).
So, I need to hang something up on the wall to cover up the patch, which is around 18" square. It's close to the centre of the wall and around 1.7m height above the floor. There'll be a clock going near it so i'll need two similar items to hang (one to cover the patch and the other to create balance on the other side of the clock).
My initial thoughts were a couple of reasonably large pictures but i'm sure there are more interesting ideas out there!
Suggestions please...

Why can't you put dustsheets down and paint down behind the rad using a radiator brush? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Paint the b****y wall. I really don't understand why people need to complicate things.I can afford anything that I want.

What the others say. If you use the same colour again, you don't need to paint very far behind the radiators - even if there is still a slight shades difference, the 2 shades will coexist happily behind a radiator in a way they won't in the middle of a feature wall. The feature wall in my living room has a squarish patch of paint that is a slightly different colour to the rest of the wall. Can't be done i'm afraid. The whole house was professioanlly painted by decorators a couple of months ago. The feature wall is amazingly smooth and looks stunning, apart from the square patch where the shade is slightly lighter. Also, the rads are very close to the wall - just 0.5 inches away from it, so you wouldn't be able to get a mini-roller behind them. The new (very expensive) flooring has just been laid too.
Hence, i'm looking to put a picture or something similar to cover the patch.Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0 -
If you not happy with the paintwork get them back in. You have spent all this money and have this 'amazing' feature wall only then to cover it up.
Either paint it yourself or get them back in.0 -
Of course it can. Can't be done i'm afraid.
So? What has that got to do with it?The new (very expensive) flooring has just been laid too.
Go buy a picture then.Hence, i'm looking to put a picture or something similar to cover the patch.

Of course, you could just put a picture frame around the patch and make a feature of it.I can afford anything that I want.
